I noticed that I started up this blog just over a year ago (official blogiversary was the beginning of the month). I did a quick breeze through the posts over last year and wow, did a lot of stuff happen! I was most taken by the basement reno and seeing where we started from again. That is quite the shock to see cement floors and studs (not to mention the horrific MESS in the rest of the house). Even though we're still working through the end bits of that reno, you couldn't pay me enough to start from that point again.
Seeing all the adventures we went on was nice too. I got to relive a little part of going to Spokane, Seattle, Florida and the Caribbean. It also made me crave another little trip before we go away to Europe in the fall. (That's probably a bad thing as we're squirreling our pennies away for that!)
Other random things of certain 'Trevor-isms' made me laugh, viewing pictures of the garden in bloom made me wish for summer, the thumb slicing incident made me cringe, and seeing the photo of my nephew's ultrasound photo made me smile.
Not bad for a year... ;)
