The passport office is more efficient than you'd think

I was up early this morning to get to the passport office when it opened around 8am, with the keener idea of avoiding big waits. When I arrived, there was a smattering of people waiting in the seats and everything went smoothly (well, except for questions about what happened to my passport -- it got wet 5 days after it expired last month).

I was back at the house around 8:50am and ready to start on today's tasks (even though I don't feel like doing any of them). Boooooo...

Weekend time

This weekend we're up to the usual reno's here and there, but it will be interrupted by some work projects, a visit to Maple Ridge, and a viewing of the Sex in the City movie. Hopefully I'll get some time to play around with my new camera too (it is soooooo lovely! Thank you clients who need amateur photography!).
